Saxon Sharbino

Actress · Writer · Creator · Creative Producer

Created by Saxon Sharbino, Madam of YouTube is based on her firsthand experience as a family member of one of the children in the Netflix documentary Bad Influence. Madam YouTube offers a rare and unfiltered look at influencer culture through the lens of someone who lived it — now reimagined as a bold, fictional drama.

Best known for her roles in Poltergeist and Fox's Touch, Saxon brings a sharp emotional lens to her writing, blending true-life insight with bold storytelling.

As the creator of Madam YouTube, Saxon has written a 9-episode series and developed the pitch materials independently, drawing on years of creative development and a deeply personal connection to the story's themes. She is currently developing additional original series and features across scripted drama and dark comedy.

Career

Growing up in Dallas, Texas, Saxon was 12 when she booked her first major network TV series, beating out hundreds of actresses for the lead in a gritty FOX spy pilot before being cast as a series regular opposite Kiefer Sutherland and Maria Bello on FOX's Touch. She led the independent film Trust Me — which premiered at Tribeca Film Festival — opposite Oscar winners Allison Janney and Sam Rockwell, alongside Felicity Huffman, William H. Macy, and writer-director Clark Gregg. She was part of the main cast of Fox and MGM's Poltergeist, and recurred as Sara Pearson in Netflix's Emmy-nominated American Vandal. Other credits include Hulu's Freakish, Law & Order, and Lucifer.
